Setting Up Your
Meta Access

Before we can launch your campaigns, we need access to your Meta Business Manager. This page walks you through everything — step by step.

Getting access set up correctly from the start is one of the most important parts of our onboarding process. It determines how fast we can get your campaigns live — and ensures you always stay in full control of your own accounts.

Use the video above for a full walkthrough. The written steps below are here as a reference you can return to at any time. If anything isn't working, just reach out to your account manager and we'll sort it out together.

Path A

Starting from scratch

You don't have a Facebook Business Page or Meta Business Manager set up yet. Follow all five steps below.

Start at Step 1 ↓

Path B

Already have accounts

You have a Business Manager, Ad Account, and Page set up. You just need to add us as a partner.

Path A — Setup Steps

Follow these steps if you're building your Meta presence from the ground up.

1

Create a Facebook Personal Profile

Meta requires a personal Facebook account to create and manage business assets. If you already have one, you're good to go — skip to Step 2.

  • Go to facebook.com and click Create new account
  • Enter your name, email address, date of birth, and a password
  • Verify your email to activate the account

Note: You don't need to post anything or make your profile public. It simply acts as the owner account for your business assets.

2

Create a Facebook Business Page

Your Business Page is your company's presence on Facebook. It needs to exist before you can run ads or set up a Business Manager.

  • While logged into Facebook, click the menu (top right) and go to Pages
  • Click Create new Page
  • Enter your business name and select the most relevant category
  • Add a profile photo if you have one — you can always update this later

Note: Don't worry about filling everything in perfectly right now. The important thing is getting it created so it can be linked to your Business Manager in the next step.

3

Create Your Meta Business Manager

Meta Business Manager (also called Meta Business Portfolio) is the control centre for all your advertising assets — your Page, Ad Account, Pixel, and partner access. This is where everything lives.

  • Go to business.facebook.com
  • Click Create Account and enter your business name, your name, and your business email
  • Once inside, go to Pages in the left menu → click AddAdd a Page → select the Business Page you just created
  • Go to Ad Accounts → click AddCreate a new ad account → name it, set your currency and time zone, and assign it to your business
  • Go to Payment Methods → click Add Payment Method → enter your credit card details

Note: Your payment method stays entirely in your control. We never have access to billing information — we only manage the campaigns within your account.

Path A & B — Granting Access

Once your accounts are set up, here's how to add us as a partner.

4

Add Merged Media as a Partner

There are two ways to do this — both work equally well. Choose whichever feels easier for you.

Recommended

Option A — Add Us Directly

The quickest way to get us set up.

  1. Inside Business Manager, go to Business Settings → Partners → Add
  2. Choose "Give a partner access to your assets"
  3. Enter our Partner Business ID: 895639430521294
  4. Select your Page, Ad Account, and Pixel
  5. Click confirm — we'll receive a notification right away

Option B — Partner Request

If Option A doesn't work, try this instead.

  1. Go to Business Settings → Partners → Add
  2. Choose "Ask a partner to share their assets"
  3. Enter our Partner Business ID: 895639430521294
  4. We'll send access requests for your Page, Ad Account, and Pixel
  5. Approve the requests inside your Business Manager

Important: Please make sure all three assets are included — your Page, Ad Account, and Pixel. Missing any one of them can cause delays in launching your campaigns.
